In the base of the chassis, two manual-hydraulic 13cc hydraulic pumps supply the lifting ram with oil to raise the drum. These pumps are operated by pumping the handle at the rear of the unit. Designed to be ergonomic, the pumps require minimal force, adhering to manual handling guidelines.
Lowering the drum is achieved by turning a lowering lever anti-clockwise. For operations exceeding 10 drums per day, we advise considering our electric or pneumatic models as a powered alternative. These powered models further enhance efficiency and reduce physical fatigue if handling many drums per day.
