We can integrate a heavy-duty weigh scale into all of our drum lifter models. A heavy-duty 2000kg load cell is fitted between the lift carriage and the head assembly to measure the weight of the drum and its contents. The load cell is designed to be very robust for use in industrial environments. The display is to the rear of the unit and includes weighing features such as zero, tare, etc. The weigh scale system is accurate to +/- 0.1kg making it great for batch production and quantity-sensitive operations.

The ladder rack at the front of the lifter enables you to move the drum gripper up and down to different levels to cater to a variety of drum heights; position the catch lower for shorter drums and higher for taller ones. See the technical specification below for a full breakdown of the barrels that are compatible with this product.
Our side-shift function is unique: sixteen precision bearings allow you to smoothly slide the central lifter left and right, so accessing the whole pallet is simple and straightforward. Once secured, you can move the barrel mover over the pallet to pick up the container. When lowering a barrel to the floor, the side-shift function gives you precise control, reducing placement gaps between drums.

The pump is easy to operate, operators simply pump the handle to raise the load and then turn a precision valve to lower drums to the ground or onto pallets. Each lift system is assembled by hand in our factory ensuring circuits are clean, reliable, and long-lasting. Our team of engineers tests and inspects every pump during the manufacturing process ensuring zero defects.

Our DTP04-R500-1250-LC-Ex Side Shift Drum Mover with Weigh Scale is suitable for gas and dust classified spaces: Zone 1, 2, 21, and 22. The drum mover is manufactured to ensure electrical continuity, and a path to the ground is always present. We supply our ATEX / UKEX units with a manufacturer’s Declaration of Conformity which demonstrates compliance with the directives and relevant British and ISO Standards.
